Appearance

Disan's true form is a towering, demonic figure with a body shaped from shadow and rot. His frame is muscular yet unnervingly gaunt in certain places, veins glowing faintly with virulent energy. His eyes burn a bright, hellish red, and his features are marked with scars that resemble spreading infections. Strange sigils writhe across his skin like living bacteria, and wherever he treads, the ground blackens.

Personality

Disan is obsessive, viewing every disease as a piece of art. He is jealous of those stronger than him, yet deeply curious about their powers. He admires those with honest cruelty but despises the self-righteous and the silent. Though fearful of Inaroth's dominance, he respects Kirata above all and remains loyal, believing his plagues contribute to the perfection of creation.

History

Mortal Life

Before the original universe came to be, Disan was a human boy - dark-haired, yellow-eyed, brilliant, yet ordinary by appearance. He excelled at school, fascinated by chemistry and medicine, though his true passion was art. He would draw endlessly, often sketching a mysterious figure he called 'the Creator.' Most dismissed him as unstable, for he insisted that this being whispered to him in solitude. But Disan knew the truth - the voice was real. It was Kirata.

His parents, however, rejected his passion. They wanted a doctor, not a dreamer. Arguments tore them apart, until Disan left home to pursue his art. For years he struggled, but when he began painting images inspired by Kirata, his reputation soared. He lived his best years as an artist - until tragedy struck.

His parents fell ill with an incurable disease. Disan abandoned art, desperate to save them. But medicine failed. They died, and Disan's heart turned to ash. Consumed by guilt, he believed that had he studied medicine instead of art, he could have saved them. This grief twisted into anger - and then obsession.

The Descent into Darkness

Disan began experimenting with humans, using his knowledge to create new diseases. He called them living art. His first works were crude, but over the years he perfected them. His 'masterpiece' was a disease that claimed millions of lives, bringing him infamy as one of history's most wanted criminals.

Even as age weakened him, Disan raged against death itself. It was then that Kirata came to him - offering eternal life in exchange for loyalty. Disan accepted without hesitation.

Rebirth as a God

He awoke in the void, his body reshaped into a monstrous form. His passion for creation remained, but now every spark of inspiration birthed new plagues. He wandered through nothingness, leaving behind trails of cursed artistry, until at last he reached the great Light - Kirata's throne.

There, he found eleven others, seated in a circle of twelve. His place was the first seat to the left of the throne.

Role and Current State

As the First Moon, Disan embodies disease, corruption, and plague-as-art. He can only be glimpsed in the Abyss during January, where the countless diseases he crafted are sealed away. Were that prison to thaw, the verse itself would collapse under the weight of his creations.

To Disan, every infection is a masterpiece, every plague a brushstroke upon the living canvas of creation.

Synopsis

The First Moon of the Abyss Gods, an artist whose brush is plague and whose canvas is life itself.

Trivia

Disan originally wanted to be remembered as the greatest artist of his era.

He still sketches, but his drawings are often blueprints for new diseases.

He secretly envies Sataku's ability to create universes, wondering if he could corrupt one entirely.

Disan views his own death as his greatest failure — and his rebirth as Kirata's ultimate mercy.
