The Echocrypt
Description
The Echocrypt is a sealed dimension within the Abyss — not to hold evil, but to bury betrayal. It is where gods consign what they cannot destroy: traitors, kin, and once-divine conspirators. Its halls are broken sanctums wrapped in hollowed time, layered with the screaming echoes of what those prisoners once were. Their crimes are so profound, their names cannot be remembered — only felt.
The Echocrypt is alive, feeding on regret. The walls drink the endless sorrow of its captives, turning it into memory-silt that buries them deeper with each passing aeon. To open even one cell is to unwrite a law of reality itself, for those imprisoned are not mortals or monsters, but beings whose betrayal could fracture the very balance of existence. That is why the Echocrypt remains buried — not forgotten, but feared.
Goals
- Seal away traitors and conspirators whose destruction would unravel reality.
- Bury betrayal in silence, ensuring their names and deeds are erased from memory.
- Feed on the endless regret of captives, strengthening the Abyss itself.
