Appearance

Sataku's true form is veiled and radiant, cloaked in robes threaded with emerald light. A hood conceals her face, and a mask of green crystal hides her expression, though the faintest smile glows beneath it. Her pale hair streams like rivers of starlight, while emerald fire pulses in a jewel at her chest, the heart of her universes. Her hands shimmer with green brilliance, cradling spheres of cosmic light — seeds of galaxies waiting to be born. Galaxies faintly orbit her form, held in quiet procession as though bound by her will.

Personality

Gentle and soft-spoken, Sataku appears comforting, but beneath her kindness lies possessiveness. She cannot release what she nurtures — every star, every soul, every universe she shapes is hers alone. She does not see herself as cruel, only as necessary, believing freedom would doom her creations. To her, love and control are inseparable, and care without ownership does not exist. She is serene, secretive, and unwavering in her devotion to her 'children.'

History

Mortal Life

Sataku was born with an endless capacity for care. In her village she was called 'the mother of all,' tending to children, feeding the hungry, healing the sick. She gave until nothing was left of herself. Yet instead of gratitude, people grew dependent. They leaned on her as though she were more than human.

Her love was boundless, but it became expectation. She felt chained — if she ever stopped, even for a moment, others would suffer. To rest was to abandon them. To deny was to kill them. And so she smothered herself in duty, giving and giving, until love became a cage.

The Descent into Darkness

Sataku's devotion warped into obsession. No longer was she content to nurture those around her — she sought to control them, believing only she could protect them properly. She forbade others to leave, convinced they would perish without her. She dictated their lives, their choices, even their loves, all in the name of care.

Her village turned against her, but she could not let go. 'You are my children,' she whispered, 'and children cannot choose.' In her suffocating embrace, the people she loved withered, their freedom strangled in the name of survival. What began as kindness became tyranny of love — a womb that refused to let life be born.

Rebirth as a God

When death claimed Sataku, her body broken by those who fled her, Kirata saw not madness but creation. In her endless need to nurture and control, it saw the spark of worlds. She awoke in the void cloaked in veils of emerald light, a hood crowning her head and a mask of green crystal concealing her face. A faint smile glowed beneath it, serene and unsettling, as though she alone knew the truth of all creation.

Her pale hair streamed like rivers of starlight, while emerald fire pulsed in the jewel at her chest — the womb of universes. From her hands formed spheres of green brilliance, each a seed of existence waiting to unfold. She walked with quiet certainty, veils trailing behind her like a priestess in procession, until she reached Kirata's throne. There she bowed her hooded head and took the fifth seat to the right.

Role and Current State

As the Eighth Moon, Sataku embodies creation on the grandest scale: multiverses, galaxies, planets, and stars. Her universes are nurtured, but bound eternally to her embrace, for she cannot release what she makes. To mortals, her presence feels like safety — until they realize her embrace is also a prison.

She can only be glimpsed in the Abyss during August, when stars ripple and skies glow emerald with her breath. To see her is to feel both comfort and captivity, as though the very universe cradles you, refusing to let go.

Synopsis

The Eighth Moon of the Abyss, Sataku is the mother of galaxies and universes. Once a mortal whose care turned into suffocating control, she was reborn as the forger of existence itself. Her creations shine with beauty and warmth, yet remain forever bound to her embrace — nurtured, but never free.

Trivia

Sataku is the only Moon whose domain encompasses entire realities, not single forces.

Her universes orbit faintly around her, as though she were their axis and womb.

Mortals often mistake her presence for comfort, not realizing it is also captivity.

Her mask symbolizes both secrecy and the belief that her children do not need to see her face to trust her.

She is serene and rarely raises her voice, but her silence carries the weight of inevitability.
